I've started it so lets hope folk turn up!!!
Showcasing the creative talents of our village this is the inaugural artwalk for those hidden talents including painters, photographers, metal workers, wood workers, textiles you name it ooh and glass! A percentage of sales goes to a local cause, this year raising money to help a 14 month old diagnosed with neuroblastoma and everything that entails for the family with hospital visits etc. On the 20th there will also be an event on our cricket field raising money and the allotments are getting the kids involved as well so lots to see and do that weekend.
July 21/22 Yorkshire Dales Food And Drink Festival.
A great weekend where you'll find me in the artisan marquis section. Live music, fabulous food and drink together with top chefs James Martin and Gino D'Acampo, vintage fun fair and hands on workshops. Loved it last year and cant wait for this, you can even camp for the weekend to take it all in at Skipton, Funkirk Farm.
September 8/9 Wardlow Mires Pottery and Food Festival, Derbyshire
Another amazing weekend for all things kiln fired and foody. It has grown year on year and is host to the some of the most skillful and wonderful potters around the country and beyond! We only take our food related wares to this one but be prepared to be blown away by the diversity on offer. It has become a major date on the pottery collectors calendar and has a great buzz in the big tent.... oh it is a massive marquis in a field so wellies might be in order, a true festival vibe in the mud!

A second chance for a breath of fresh air in our lovely village with open studios to visit and Ackworth School hosting those that create in limited space. Dare I say thinking ahead to Christmas.........
