When placing an order with Claire Lake, you are making an offer to purchase the goods contained within that order. We reserve the right to accept or decline that offer. All prices are shown in British Pound Sterling and include all taxes applicable to the UK mainland.

 

Product dimensions given are in millimetres and are approximate due to the nature of the processes used. Please note that we may alter specifications of our products from time to time. Any changes will be notified on this website. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. No two pieces will be identical. Patterns and colours may vary. The reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow and glass colours can vary from batch to batch. Whilst every effort has been made to portray items accurately, no liability is accepted for any perceived variations between website depiction and actual product. Our glass can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth, or by using a soft cloth with ordinary, mild glass cleaner.

 

Prices are correct at the time of publishing and include VAT where applicable. It may be necessary to change prices from time to time, including any changes to the rate of VAT. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering.

 

All of our products are made individually to order and therefore lead times vary.  Please order well in advance if you require delivery for a specific date. All items in a single order will be dispatched together and therefore the item with the longest lead time will dictate the delivery date of all items.

 

All goods are delivered personally, by a courier and Royal Mail services. These services require a signature for receipt of goods. We recommend that your delivery address is at a place where someone can sign for receipt of the goods.

 

Wall panels must be installed into sound walls and using the correct fixings applicable for the surface / wall construction type. Please contact a professional joiner or builder for advice and installation. Claire Lake will not be held responsible for any problems encountered in installing your goods.

 

All products are made to the customer’s specification and therefore ‘personalised’ as recognised by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. As such it is not possible to return products unless faulty. You have the right to amend or cancel your order within 48 hours after the acknowledgement of order has been sent. We reserve the right to charge 100% of the cost of the product should cancellation occur after 48 hours.

 

If a product arrives damaged or a mistake has been made with an order, we will repair or replace (at our discretion) the product at no additional expense to the customer. We accept no liability for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or for any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that are caused by any event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. It is the customer’s responsibility to check products carefully and report any problems within 48 hours from receipt of goods. No liability will be taken for visible defects identified after having received a signed acceptance of delivery.

 

Claire Lake does not provide any warranties or make any representation in relation to the Health and Safety of the goods and nor shall the customer rely on any such representation (if made).  It shall be the sole obligation of the customer to research and satisfy itself that the goods meet with the Health and Safety requirements (whether statutory or otherwise) of the jurisdiction in which the Customer resides.

 

No liability is accepted for conditions of use or storage within the customer’s home or elsewhere after delivery which may affect the product in any way. Claire Lake’s total liability for any claim arising in relation to any of her products shall not exceed the price of the products supplied to the customer. Claire Lake shall not be liable for any consequential loss arising from a breach of contract or in any other way. This statement does not affect your statutory rights. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website, Claire Lake does not warrant that it will be error free, and the customer acknowledges that the information, products and services published on this website may include errors and typographical errors.
